I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹. I came to the US on a soccer scholarship to Park University and never left the Kansas City area.

I am a self-taught loctician for the past 9 years, 4 of those I was my only client lol. In Fall of 2020, I reached out to Sweetwist Locs wanting to learn the crochet method and fell in love with the idea of working in a loc salon. 

I quit my 9-5 bank gig, teamed up with Tahirah to educate and beautify the Kansas City loc world! 

I am currently at Leenaj Beauty and Barber Design; 7520 Prospect Ave. KCMO 64064 as I continue to educate myself while, providing valuable service and information to my clients. 

In 2025, I was named Kansas City People’s Choice Award (KCPCA) BEST LOCTICIAN. I am so thankful for the recognition and looking forward to using this accolade to continue to educate and grow the locs community.

I currently have a 3 products line for all natural hair clients: LOCMIST, SOCA-OIL and MGE ( Moisture Growth Elixir) and working on more!
